I’m grateful for my Son, my sobriety, AA program, my sponsor, my job, my company, the hair cut I’m about to get, the fresh water I get to drink and bath in, my eyes, my hearing, my feet, and the gift of life.

I’m grateful for you as well. The newcomer is the most important person at every meeting. I can remember how overwhelming it was early on in my recovery. I wanted everything to be fixed and back to normal right now. I was 47 days sober when I had to go into inpatient treatment. I couldn’t be in society. The pain was too much and I was restless, irritable and discontented.
Welcome to sobriety! You too have a blessed day filled with love and peace within.
