I spent the whole day with a fellow recovering addict, friend of mine. I helped him set up his brand new laptop. Although he got frustrated at times and put off by “the technology,” we both had a great time and laughed quite a bit!
I couldn’t do that if I weren’t in recovery. I would have been “unavailable” and stuck in my own “world.” I would have missed a really nice moment in LIFE.
