i’m here starting over after 2.5 years sober. it’s been a really rough last year of starts and restarts but tonight i have been given the gift of desperation and i’m so grateful to be here. :white_heart:

Hi Ally, relapses will never define who you are. It's the courage to start again. I'm 135 days sober from my last set back. It is doable. We can do this. Reach out anytime.

I had to do a complete personality change. Became open minded and spiritual. Working the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous and helping others is key to my sobriety.

i have started attending Recovery Dharma meetings and a few select AA meetings. i’m so grateful for the community they both provide :heart:

Ally!! That’s awesome! I went to a few recovery Dharma meetings and read the book. I did my first noble truth at the treatment facility I went to. I very much loved it!
AA is what I mainly focus on now.
Going to look into getting back into recovery Dharma. Very spiritual… attitude of gratitude! Keep up the good work.

I’ve been there too girl, with just about the same amount of time and I’ve been on and off starting over, ever since…it’s a hard road, I wish you the best :+1:t3:

Hi. Several relapses , 2 30 day rehabs, and i’m now celebrating 10 years sober. Life is wonderful and I got here one day at a time. Go to meetings, talk to fellow AA’s, And do not pick up no matter what. You’ll be OK
