Been thinking a lot lately about a great guy I met through AA who passed away from cancer a couple weeks ago.
That was his line “My name’s Tom, I’m STILL an alcoholic”. I can hear his voice. Didn’t matter how much pain he was in, he was still so dang happy. He knew he was leaving this earth and knew he had made an impact to so many lives. His legacy will forever live on. I can only hope to make even a little blip of impact like he did. Just a little! That will make me happy. 🥹
