I’m losing my mind. Feel my husband doesn’t love me but stays with me because of my abandonment issues.
Please reach out to a sober community. Preferably women orientated. Do not hesitate nor put this off. This could left unaddressed could continue having you feeling more like a loss of mind. However, this normal and you will overcome this phase. It is important for you to value yourself. You have so much to fight for. No one is given challenges that they are not capable of winning. You are a winner and worth fighting for. What are you waiting. Get it done.
I have so much on my plate. It seems to never end. But, thank god I don’t want a drink. That’s what’s created this mess. I don’t know how to get rid of unwanted thoughts. And the feeling he just wants me to walk away.
A meeting sounds like a wonderful way to get your mind out of the gutter. When I start to doubt myself in anyway I go surround myself with the loving women at one of the meetings. I also like to take walks out in nature to help realign my mind with the beauty of the world…to help remind me what all I’m thankful for. I hope your day gets a little softer❣️
Quit serving yourself more food. Sometimes we can't get enough. These unwanted thoughts will go away when we get them out. Find a friend or sober person. I'm sorry but forget what he wants right now but take of you. If he cares for you right now he will quit pressuring you and realize this not helping you. I know what abandonment feels like. We abandon ourselves and must do things to fight for our worth. You are God's creation. I promise you this and all the negative thoughts will go away.
Recently, I was experiencing this and I wrote on Loosid and people came to my rescue until I could go talk to my counselor.
I can definitely relate. My marital situation is complicated to say the least. I know it's hard but for me, I know I have to focus and work on myself in order to hope for any favorable future regardless of my relationship.
You are not alone in this , Stay Strong!
Hey Sarah fellow Njer. I was loosing my mind due to my now ex wife who enabled me to get back into bad habits and obviously I got worse and worse. I lost my sh#t and told her I needed her and she wasn't there or willing to help me. So that day I lost it I told my family and filled. I went to therapy to help me and discuss my marriage. Eventually it was open to her to come in and she wouldn't come and even said we can use a different therapist. Then I knew we were done. I continued for prob 2 years all together until I felt good. I know the abondonedment feeling to well since I kinda fended for myself my whole life and obviously in my marriage as discussing above. So first work on you and try therapy if you can and let loose and that may make you get comfortable to talk to your husband. He may not even realize and can help you. You gotta lay it out because even with trust issues it's better to move on and work on healing than staying and being on edge. If you need a friend reach out
Don’t drink, don’t think and go to meetings. After awhile of doing this everything will work out the way it’s supposed to. Stay grateful and blessed
