I’m new here from Sober Grid, starting over again, I have failed so many times. I have to kick this thing once and for all. I have experienced the joy of sobriety many times and can’t understand what brings me back to the alcohol.

I've started over many times myself and I too have questioned why I keep going back after experiencing the joys of sobriety. In fact that's one of the main reasons that lead me to sobriety this time around. You're on the right track. Let this time be the last time 🫶

At first this was why I went to vodka, cheap and tastes like crud. I did my second rehab June 5th and am 99 days sober. What is cool about the second one was they hit why we all mentally went to it, as opposed to all the 12 steps and reading from the book. Yes, the problem is alcohol but we are curing something else. If the other things didn't help you, try something different, if you can. May you find the help and encouragement you need
