Hello Marybeth. I'm not used to this app, but I have a few years in recovery. You can do this. If I can, anyone can. Stick to what helps you the most. The beginning is always difficult, but recovery is possible if you want it and do the work it requires. I'm not a meeting person, I've taken a different route with my God. He is the only reason I'm alive and well today! I use prayer and worship to make it through anything I encounter! He's the One that will never leave you. I will pray for you. It always helps me. If you're in the program, work it!! It does work!! I promise you that. Although I believe everyone does better with God involved. I pray your life improves daily! It's very important to leave all people behind, that are still using or not in recovery. You will meet new friends that will become family. It's a beautiful life, being clean and sober. 
90 in 90 , get a sponsor , work the steps and all the people in the program to love you until you can learn to love yourself
Hey nice to meet you your first step you have already completed by asking for help that's awesome congrats I'm on here because I'm an addict I was very bad but as I've been programming alot it's been a hella lot easier to not use relapse and not want that life anymore you can do it keep programming and don't give up I promise you'll make it and accomplish many goals u set if u ever need to talk I'm here for ya
