I hope so! Let me know if you ever need anything, recovery can happen at any age and you don’t necessarily have to reach rock bottom before you realize you need help and sobriety

i just turned 18 the other month. its nice to finally hear someone around my age also struggling from pills, today is 307 days since i last popped sum— 4 months is amazing. n from what ive learned, it only will get easier. im here for support if u need, it gets harder some days, but ur progress rlly shows ur determination

I still find myself struggling with small things like advil/pain meds, prescriptions ect. But lately I’ve decided I really need to actively work on my problems, because if I don’t I’ll only want to continue doing it. That’s why I joined
i use to take over the counter pills in large quantities just to feel something when i couldnt get the drugs i wanted. if possible, set boundaries and restrictions. also if possible, tell someone around u so that maybe u dont have easy acess to those things. fighting those urges for just at the begging will only make it easier later on

Great job recognizing the issue early. I’m proud of you, keep up the good work!
I believe you can overcome all that stuff and be a wonderful role model to the youth that struggles with addiction. Remember that whomever you surround yourself you will become like. Stay surrounded by strong supportive people as well as sober ones. Always be true to yourself, and never, I mean Never,!, Give up on YOU! May God shine on you and keep you:sun_with_face:
Ones never to young nor too old.. never too soon nor too late. To my knowledge addiction has no time periods neither does recovery.

This is so true, recovering addicts are some of the most real people I have ever met.
We have a beauty that has been tarnished by our active addiction. Now we are given the opportunity to clean up and be The shining stars we are.

I’m an old fart and got sober at 48. It always makes me happy to see people figure it out sooner than I did. Stick with it and good things will come to you.
