I’m only 2 weeks sober and just out my ex fucked someone I know while we’re maybe gonna get together! I’m heartbroken and thank god I’m in a sober living because I want to drink or get high so bad

Glad you’re in a safe place. This is a great time to rid yourself of people, places, and things that don’t serve you anymore. It’s time for you to work on yourself and build your support system. Sorry for the heartache.

I got sober in a relationship. My ex wanted me to move in with her and get married. My daughters weren’t ready for that. We we’re together 2 years. My ex wasn’t happy not being priority #1. With me going to meetings and having two daughters full time. I had to let her go a year ago and walk away from her. She jumped into another relationship within a month and a half. She got engaged and married within a year of our break up. My point is, I dodged a bullet. I only saw the red flags with her ONLY because I was sober! If I was still drinking I would’ve moved in and stayed in a unhealthy relationship. My needs weren’t important enough to her. People come into your life for two reasons… either they’re a lesson or a blessing. Give it time, feel for once and overcome it and not numb it. I’m sorry you are going through this. You can overcome this and get to the other side and grow. Stay grateful and blessed :pray:

I'm sorry you had to go through this it sucks. The only good part is the person is an ex and will stay an ex for a reason. Nobody that truly cares about you will put you through this. Keep your head up focus on your goals and keep going you got this

Sorry to hear about you finding out like that Chelsea. At least you’re in a secure place. Dating while trying to go sober is never a smooth experience so believe me I know how much it stinks. Should you need to talk about it I’m a great listener, or just keep posting on here and you’ll receive good feedback for sure
