I’m really trying to believe in this god thing. But

I’m really trying to believe in this god thing. But right now he’s not looking to good. I have so much on my plate. Which has nothing to do with drinking. It has to do with people from the outside making their problems my problems. And I can’t figure out why they think this is ok. I’m basically homeless losing thousands of dollars a month because of them. Where’s the god. I need to find by the first to move to. But yet I own a house I can’t get back into because my tenants will not get out, but yet don’t pay the rent. Tell me how this is fair.

Wow. I feel the frustration. I'm also in a panic over my future after a recent near fatal accident disrupted my whole life last month.

God saved my life again. I keep trying to take it away inadvertently with firewater and steam. Why?

I'm causing my own suffering in how I set myself up. I made my own life more difficult in the present by choices in the past. God is helping me now to write this message.

So, your :house_with_garden: home situation is complicated by occupied tenants past due. I encourage you to look at the specific city and county housing department website under just cause eviction for owner occupied notice. Nonpayment of rent is usually considered a legal reason for eviction. You may need to give formal notice in writing with the legal time limit, and leading to filing an Unlawful Detainer at the court to serve on the tenants.

Please I don’t need you to give up now ok believe God is still at work and I know with time everything will be alright okay I will keep for you and have faith and God will come through for you okay.

I’ve done it all. But yet they won’t leave. I have another court date. Our system is for tenants not the landlord.

Unfortunately, this is very common and frustrating for homeowners who rent out their property. But there is a process, time-consuming, and expensive as it is. It is good you are processing your legal eviction. Be thorough as you protect your rights and property and consider how the local and state law affects you. If you need help or ideas, feel free to write me. I have experience in the legal field and as an Investigator for the housing department.

Dang, tough spot and I am sorry to hear that. If you'd like to chat theology with me I's be interested; I personally believe that God has wealth and riches beyond imagining in store for those who love him, along with some more in the now beliefs. Definitely not fair, I hope your tenant situation resolved soon for sure.

Thank you! This is so unreal how the system allows this.

Then stop. Belief in God has gotten you, along with millions of others, absolutely nowhere. Believe in yourself and a rigorous program of hanging out with other drunks trying to stay sober, god not needed. Anyone who tells you otherwise is full of shît and simply trying to sell you something.

Finally, practical advice. Thank you.

Thank you. I’m sick of them telling me to leave it in gods hands.

These people aren't paying rent and you own the place and you can't evict them by moving in? I lived in CA for 15 years and thought a landlord moving in or landlord's family was a sure way to get rid of renters. If this is no longer the case it's another reason why I'm glad I left. That state is way too liberal. I am an Independent now. This stuff is off the rails in California.

It’s not the old days anymore. Biden has given them more rights than the landlord

It’s not fair at all, yet that’s the last thing life is; fair. The best way is to just get ahead because you are worth it! I don’t know about this God business either. Who does? But I do know that I am not God. I have learned in AA if I bring the body and do the do’s the mind will follow. Not everyone gets that. There are many ways to sober life. The AA way is what I have found works best for me. Other help is available and I use the professional help for problems when they are better equipped to handle that situation. The important thing is that you find what’s best for you. A problem shared is halved and a joy shared is doubled. I hope and pray that things turn around for you soon and that you will have that peace and joy.

God always listens. He might not always answer your prayers the way you want. But if you have faith, you will get an answer. Relying on only yourself might seem like a solution until you run out of steam because at the end of the day you are just a weak limited being. Just have faith in your eternal friend. And remember to listen.

No.
