Yeah self pity is a big one,
I get it. It's used as a way to talk us into picking up a drink. Our disease is very sneaky.

You have the right attitude for sure. Gratitude is definitely a solution to feeling sorry for ourselves. I've been sober for a long time and I still practice that. Sometimes I think I have so many problems until I hear about somebody else that has a way worse than I ever have it.

Get to a meeting if you can. They seem to help. Maybe you can help somebody else. Nothing insures our sobriety like working with another alcoholic.
