I’m struggling cause I might be losing my career after nearly 18 years. I will likely need work and eventually a new home I can afford…
I was forced into early retirement because of an accident but it was the closing of one door and the opening of another and took me into a whole New World. God has a plan.
I agree and amen… just taking it one day at a time now
Just don’t drink for today. It won’t make anything better!
Thank you
Hey Michael: Hang in there and take it a day at a time. I know that it sounds simplistic, but it really works! I'm staying clean and sober TODAY. I'm not sure what tomorrow will bring, but it doesn't involve me getting loaded. Try to stay in the present. Glad you're here!
Thank you John
Michael I’m a recruiter and can help you spruce up your resume and jib search if you’d like
That would be great… could you send me your email and i can send you my resume
I added you as a friend on here so once you add me back, we can chat and then I will send you my email in the chat
I lost some good jobs due to my drinking. But going into a 12 step program, working the steps with a sponsor, and being in recovery opened doors that were unimaginable a few years ago.
It will take time but if you keep making progress with your disease, everything in your life will get better.
Hang tough brother man.
When one door closes another door opens!
Just stand firm today! Tomorrow will sort itself out!
Plan ahead! Go ahead & start looking for another job & check on pricing on cheaper places. Remember it’s gonna be ok. One door opens but one door will open.
Stay strong, Michael.
Michael I'm sorry to hear this just know you are sober and at least you aren't making matters worse
Hey Im going through my issues too and if it wasn’t meant to be then it’s not god plan for you one door closes a new one opens for you and you might be in a panic mode and don’t be keep in mind be that person you wish you had and tell yourself that every day trust me you got this!
"God has a plan"? This is pretty subjective, but I think that it's Michael that needs to come up with a plan.
Refer to George Carlin regarding "god's plan".
