You took the most important step by saying something. We all feel you. Head up and stay strong. God is great. Life is great!

I love you!

Hey Andrew. I've finally strung together almost 12 months sober and going to meetings. I never went to meetings longer than a month over about 38 yrs before this. This is the happiest I've been since I was a young kid. You can do this

For many of us, our disease of alcoholism drove us into isolation. When I decided I was ready to recover, I found myself suddenly sober but I didn’t have the slightest clue how to begin to let people in. I needed meetings where I was accepted just as I am by people who understood first hand what I was going through. Over time, I’ve built strong friendships with incredible people in recovery. I had to learn how to be a better friend as well as what a true friendship should be. Your people are in the rooms.

You're definitely not alone. Props on recognizing your struggle and reaching out. I've got a bit over 2 years and still have these feelings on occasion. Sitting alone doesn't help - reaching out, like you did is key! I'm always happy to chat or text if you need.

I was so ashamed to walk back in to AA on Tuesday but I did it. You got this bro

You feel alone but in all reality even though it's hard to see there are people in your shoes or in similar situations your not alone. I understand I feel alone often. If you want someone to talk to hit me up.

Well, the struggle is worth it my friend. Struggle is what you did when you thought life was grand and you were almost DEAD WRONG DUDE! Wake up up and ( like my daughter said...stop and see the pretty flowers) she was 11 and now she is 26. She has never stopped saying that...and neither has anyone else around me.

Hang tough my man! You’re not alone

Andrew!!! Time to do the steps… prayer and meditation. Remember you are not alone. Get out there and fellowship. Volunteering helped me get out of myself. You got this my friend! I sometimes fall into that pity party. I have to quickly turn to the step to see where I’m at fault. If you have a couple phone numbers of other alcoholics to call, I’d recommend calling them. It’s a great way to be of service.

Hang in there Andrew. Feel free to message me if you’d like

It can be hard to meet people at first but it does get easier! Find a way to relax that works for you. Take your time. AA has a great fellowship. Feel free to reach out if you want to chat. You can do this!

Eat sweets helps me every time. Alcohol has a lot of sugar in it. Sweets calm down the cravings.
