I’m struggling hard today. Feel alone right now not sure how to meet ppl sober. Besides AA but I haven’t been going. Not complaining but I’m alone and it’s consuming

Hello Andrew! I feel alone quite often myself. Meeting people can be tough in general and here we are trying to meet sober people and stay sober ourselves. I’ve been here 5 days and have found the community support to be super helpful. Don’t hesitate to reach out😃

I've made numerous friendships through AA. It was an obvious option since we all have so much in common. If you're looking for sober friends, you may want to go where sober people are.

9.5 months sober here! It can be done! Don't give up! First couple days are the toughest! Reach out if you want!

Do u feel comfortable saying why u haven’t been going to AA? Maybe this forum could be a place to work through it

My brother it’s hard to meet folks in aa if your not going to meetings. If can get to a meeting tonight, it’s Friday night,,, should be able to find a meeting. Get your hand and introduce yourself.
Get there early and stay late. I know,,,, if you’re like me I sure didn’t want to hear that. But it does and will work. Take a commitment and get involved in service. Guaranteed you will meet people

Hey Andrew, Jersey Shore here. Been there more times then I wish, but it made and will make you a stronger and better person. I’m here for you like everyone else. Try and reach out and talk to someone who knows what’s it’s like. You can can do this. You took the first step and posted \asked for help, guidance, or just someone to listen. Scott

Hey Andrew, there is a site I go to often called in the rooms. They have some great groups for just about anything. www.intherooms.com. Hope this can help you a little. Hang in there and if you ever want someone to talk to I can give you my number. We all need a good friend!
