Hi Mark. I can relate. Alcohol beat my as$. No matter how many second chances I got, or how bad the consequences got, I always ended up back in the same dark hole. It’s a fight I was never going to win. If you are one of us, the answer is to admit defeat and surrender. Stop fighting and struggling with something that you can’t beat. Sounds like you’re ready. You’re already asking for help. That’s a huge step. Continue to seek help. It helps if you can see yourself as a sick person with an illness that is doing bad things, rather than a bad person or a piece of 
. You’re just sick. Go get some help brother. You deserve better

AA has helped me stay sober for 2+ years. I suggest you attend meetings everyday for 30 to 90 days straight
