I’m visiting my parents this week and they have all these recent-ish pictures framed on the wall of me and the rest of the family. It’s embarrassing how much I look like sh*t in them. I want them to take them down right now but I’d rather just keep looking at them and get more motivated for a sober glow.

Good mindset friend. Also they are likely very proud of you and that’s the only pics they have. Something to consider

I totally get you. My screensaver on my phone is a screenshot of a text my wife sent me when hit rock bottom…exactly 16 months ago. Sometimes I feel like changing it, but I’m just not ready to let go of that reminder. Keep up the solid work, and you can gift them a nice new framed one for Christmas
