No you are not! Addiction is a disease NOT a moral failing!

You are not, you are strong and valued. One minute at a time, close your eyes. Listen to your breath and only your breath. Put one hand on your heart and one on your stomach. Breath deeply and focus only on your breath....

Quiet the mind. Stay here for as long as you need to.

Stay strong sister. Every day is a new opportunity to live.

Oh heck no you are not!!!! You are worthy! If you relapsed, start over with a day one. Make the decision “I will not drink/use today”. The saying one day at a time is real. If you are on this site, that means you are trying. Keep trying, reach out and know you are worth it. No judgement because we have all been there.

Your definitely not worthless.

These people will help you.in all ways of life.if they can.:dromedary_camel:

Cindy thanks for reaching out. You look like you have a great smile! Remember one day at a time. This disease we all have does not have to be your life, remember it is a disease. I look at like asthma or diabetes, we have to treat it every day. It’s just something you have to work around. I know it’s easier said then done, for me it was just letting those feelings of guilt and failure go. I just decided for myself that I’m going to be happy and who cares what people think. I still feel insecure when I see people and know that they know I went to treatment but it’s fading lately. Coming to the realization that it’s your life to live and not on somebody’s else expectations is hard but it can be done. You got this
