Today is officially 7 days clean. The marks and bruises on my hands and arms have mostly healed and I can wear a tank top again!
Although IV drug use was not my main issue, the last week of active use, my fiancé was bringing home heroin he said to “make our last time a better memory”. 
Point is, my skin will recover without scars.
