I met a puppy a golden retriever and it went well so I can pick it up in 5 weeks and I’m so happy about it.
I know it’s not recovery related but if I wasn’t clean this prob wouldn’t be a thing, getting a puppy. I’ve had dogs in the past but ended up giving them away. There were times like I didn’t have anywhere really to stay and all I wanted was a stable safe place to live and a dog so I must be doing something right

I actually feel like it is recovery related!! As we recover we get all sort of blessings we would not have the opportunity to enjoy while we are out. Congratulations on your pup and hope you two have years of companionship

Don’t be in such a hurry to name him. I have found most dogs wind up naming themselves! Golden retriever’s are great dogs! They get big and love to run free!
