I miss the unknown and chaos

Am I sure I'm ready for a stable life?

i understand where you are coming from. i enjoyed the unknown and chaos, i mean, i am a chess player who overthinks things. i could turn the off switch in my brain with a drink. but what happens, is it gets old. next thing i know it, i am almost 30 with no career, meaningful relationships, money. my college friends have surpassed me in all aspects, while i am scrounging for quarters for a 40 ounce. i hope the best!!

Chaos does get boring.

Putting broken shĂŻt back together with missing pieces gets old.

Like what? I feel like there's enough chaos in everyday life. And that drinking ads more and it detracts from a quality life rather than ads to it.

Consistent chaos is not really chaotic at all. However, you can still do unplanned and spontaneous things or make rash choices that have lower consequences and better outcomes. Every day sober is a “choose your own adventure” it just doesn’t usually end in pain and suffering. Don’t let sobriety rob you of a being a free spirit just keep that spirit free from your addictions.

... look around you, there's nothing but chaos and the unknown out in the world.
