Rehab is awsome I finished a 3 month program in February and I'm still staying strong. You are making a good decision and you got this stay strong.

Hello Sue, that is the point of recovery and what I learned. If I was strong enough to quit drinking, I would have. I didn't want to wake up hungover, I didn't want to wonder what I did to look a fool, I didn't want to have arguments over my drinking. I wasn't and am not strong enough on mu own.

I had and still need to change that. I have to ask for help in various ways to various people. I have to open a book and find the root cause as to why I drink. I have to read about the solution and go to (brick and mortar) meetings to see the solution in action and yearn for what i see. I have to get honest with myself. There are 12 simple steps I must take for a complex person like me.

They are simple, not necessarily easy. I was told nothing worthwhile is ever obtained easily. After the fog cleared I got into action and started to heal. I was so desperate to change my life I would do anything to be relieved. Its a gift, I hope you find the gift of desperation.

Be like an ant in nature...
Ants can carry 10 to 50 times their body weight. Hang in there☆☆☆♡

Good luck. I really hope you do go to treatment because this is no way of life. You are thinking like you should. Sometimes we need to get help to get us started. It's nothing to be ashamed of. Admitting you have a problem is paramount. nothing else works if you don't think you have a problem, and it makes your life unmanageable. Don't forget a sponsor, and meetings. It all goes together. Along with service... And it wraps together with Gods grace. You can do it ... Just not alone.

So glad you have decided to get help Sue. Good luck with rehab, you got this!

You’re not but you’re higher power is and he ready when you are meetings help

You're stronger than you think. Smarter than you know and braver than you give yourself credit for.

We are all strong enough. Do not forget that.

You are strong enough Sue! All of us are

Strong enough for help? You’re worthy!

How are you doing?
