Asking for help is a great start. Have you ever gotten help with this before? I ask because there’s a lot to learn about addiction from a medical and mental standpoint. For those of us who have “crossed the line”, we can’t control it anymore…it controls us. We learn it’s all about not picking up the first drink, and just as important how to rebuild our lives so that we don’t want to pick up that first drink. Once we stop, we need to learn how to stay stopped. That’s what recovery is all about.
So, I suggest at least some outpatient treatment program to start. If you have already been there done that, then it’s time to put what you learned into action. Help is out there, but you have to go get it. AA meetings are a great place to get started in the meantime. Go to a meeting today if you can

Give it away ask for help go to a meeting call a sponsor or trusted friend write those negative thoughts in a journal get it out of your head. Take a nice bath Epsom salt rose water if you have any. Smell lavender or drink some tea. Try meditation once you can quiet the mind this will pass and you will feel so much better. Praying for you :heart:
