That seems to be the tough part after you get through the initial wave of sobriety. The what now factor. Those two things you said are exactly what’s up.

Until you get a big book you can use AA.org online. Has a lot of everything you need.

AA works for me. I got my Big Book at a meeting. All they asked for was a donation. I could have had it for a dollar if that's what I could give. My meetings use the book "As Bill Sees It". If you search on li e a I found a legit free pdf download. Sorry I don't remember where.

You can download it to your phone for free. It’s a start. You might want a hard copy to outline phrases and make notes in it tho
