I passed 4th of July!

This was my first sober 4th of July in my entire 13 years of drinking journey. 12 days sober- yesterday was definitely so difficult….I mean EVERYONE was drinking. People were standing, grilling, having conversations with police with a beer or something. I definitely smoked a cigarette- even tho it wasnt all that wonderful…I had to take the edge off somehow. Night ended great. Drone and firework show. Mile walk back to my car. Safe to say, i was so tired by the end of the night i just passed out. God bless america

That's awesome. Great job, it isn't easy
That's the magic number,
12 and 13 make up everything, 12 moons and 12 or 13 dimensions to reality.
Blessings.
Hmu if you ever want or need to talk

First 4th of July sober in 9years; it was definitely hard bestie. But I think the hardest part was me not hating myself for all the relationships I need to repair & mistakes I made in my alcoholic binges. 23days sober today, all we can do is be present, appreciate the small things, journal, get closer to God or our higher power & do better. I'm rooting for you :rose::sparkles:
