I really hate being a resentful person I get over it a lot quicker (days instead of years) now, but man, I hate being in resentment. I hate being vague, So I am out of town and my ex-wife to be is 3000 miles away. We always go to the pumpkin patch for our kids together… but this year she is going to go before I get back because her brother has to work on the weekend after, and we normally would go on that weekend but no everyone has to conform to his every Fuking whem. God forbid we upset HIS Majesty! Just needed to vent im sure it will workout… im just in fear of missing out fear of being a bad dad in my kids eyes. Fear of looking even more like an uncaring father in my inlaws eyes. And angry at her brother because it verywell could be a complete LIE he has done this type of manipulation before.

There will be a lot of things that you can't do together anymore, even with the kids involved. You gotta call dibs on things like the pumpkin patch.

Speaking from experience, find a therapist if you can. Not trying to be a downer but there will be a lot of scenarios where your ex (or her family) will upset you. Divorce has been a tough road for me but when I keep my kids first and stick up for myself (when appropriate) I find the tough scenarios are more manageable. Best of luck Robert!
