I recommend watching the show “Loudermilk” with Ron Livingston, Will Sasso, it centers around an AA meeting group who’s leader doesn’t have the best attitude. It was very easy to watch because it’s so real. You see the group’s strength, despite the comical raw banter and oddball craziness….and you feel like a member. It’s on Amazon Prime.
I enjoyed Loudermilk too. Flaked with Will Arnett is another show with a lot of AA-based content that I thought was great. I think Flaked is on Netflix.
I whole heartedly agree. My son just turned me onto it last night. Definite God moment you putting that out there. Cool stuff.
I wish Flaked had more seasons. I gave loudermilk a shot because it was one of the Farrelly bothers projects.
Yeah I do too! I tried to get some of my normie friends to watch it, but not having the AA experience under their belts made it less interesting for them.
Forgot to mention the MUSIC! I was looking up songs throughout.
Absolutely. The Flaked soundtrack is
. So. Many. Good. Bands.
I just started watching loudermilk tonight!! I like it !!! I’ll try flaked tomorrow maybe
Freaking love Loudermilk! Yes being in the program made it much funnier I think. Mugsy and Cutter f-ing

Definitely not a funny show, but good is Maid on Netflix. It’s very thought provoking. It made me think about the Jekyl and Hyde I am in active addiction. It made me think of how grateful I am for what I have. IDK it’s good. Somewhat depressing though.
Thank you for the suggestion
I’ll check it out. I’ve been watching Dopesick on Hulu and it’s rough. I’m not saying it’s bad. Just can be hard to watch.
Thanks! Just watched the first couple episodes, this is really good.
I’ll check it out.
I like Brian Regan somewhat, but he was fantastic, he’s definitely memorable.
Cherry was good
The character Cutter has me dying!

Yeah I kept hoping he’d be back at the end!
