I ended up continuing to talk to someone who was using and we co-signed each other’s bullshit. I went down to where she was and used for 2 days straight. Now I’m in an outpatient detox. I’m looking at a PHP/IOP program for after here and praying and hoping I get into it. My family is talking about possibly letting me live with them after I complete my next program. Life is great! I have so much to be grateful for today. It’s amazing how everything works out when I’m honest and surrender. God first, then my recovery, and everything else falls into place.
@abreahna249759 Please don't get this twisted... Why? What brought you to the point of relapse.
Always keep focused on. Progress! Never give up on yourself! You are loved
Give yourself some grace glad you came back time to reflect on why it happened and work on yourself so it doesn't happen again build a support group and reach out when struggling
Honestly I just made a really bad impulsive decision. There’s no truer reason as to why I relapsed other than that I wanted to in that moment. The thought of getting high was more appealing than staying clean.
It’s not to late to try again, you can do this💜
Thank you
You’re welcome
You know I respect your response and respect you more for being honest. Add me if you'd like.
Proud of you for showing up for yourself. That takes guts. Keep leaning into the work.
