Don't be too hard on yourself. Be kind to and love yourself. We all make mistakes. I have. The difference is not to keep making the mistakes
We all make mistakes. Just don't keep making it. Be kind to and love yourself
Youâre going to be fine, it will make you stronger! âYou Got Thisâ donât be hard on yourself
Nobody is perfect. Be willing to learn and start again. Feeling bad is a sign that you care. Stay strong
You still have 412 days sober, you only have that one non-sober.
If you had ONE flat tire, would you throw your car away?
You can do this, you did it for 412 days. You're not 'starting over', you just hit a hurdle and missed the jump. Get back up and jump the next one. You can do this.
I missed over a year of hurdles after 10 years of sobriety. I'm doing it again, and I'm not beating myself up anymore. Some one on here made me realize no one can take away my 10 years, I still have them, I just get to add to them after a setback.
Best to you!
My late sponsor told me: "Get up, dust yourself off, and keep moving forward!"
Weâre all here for you Claire!! Hang in there, youâve got this!
Hey Claire, donât be hard on yourself, weâve been there and you already proved to yourself that you can do it, a friend sent me this not long into my second time after relapsing:âŚ.
Beautiful me.
I hope you read this and believe me...
You are needed, and I know you don't feel like it right now..but you are.
I know you've been hard on yourself, how you view and talk to yourself is nothing you'd repeat outloud.
I know you feel like this is it, this is all the future holds for you.
Keep going.
Keep trying every single day.
You're already making waves, moving mountains, becoming who you're meant to be.
It all starts with showing up for YOU, trusting YOU, and believing in YOU.
From the person who will always believe in you,
me
Youâre not alone. Lots of people stumble in recovery. Whatâs important is reconnecting with support which you have done.
I echo what everyone else has said. 412 days is AMAZING!!! You slipped. That happens to us all. The thing is, you know what to do and have done it. Letâs go!
Today is a good day, to start over. Donât be so hard on yourself!
Don't give up. You are not a failure until you refuse to get up. We learn from falling. Keep pressing forward. You got this
