Sierra..there will come a time... when you least expect it when you will realize you are f*d if you drink and you will truly deeply Know you Can Not Ever stop or Ever have a Hope of ever experiencing what a sober non alcoholic life us like.. hopefully you'll get there. I guarantee our future with alcohol and drugs is actually Insanity or Death.. prison the third option is a little bit of Both..
AA truly really does offer the miraculous freedom from drink.. when you are ready .. I sincerely hope you get recovery because later down the road you can be Helping people too

First and foremost your here, Welcome your reaching out! What can I say, we all have choices and the first question is are you tired are you sick and tired of drinking? No one but you truly knows. Drinking can lead you to death or to do a lot of bad things. Hurting not only yourself but your family, friends,significant other. Etc . You being here reaching out is a first. Don’t drink and know when that thought arises journal , get to a meeting get numbers get a sponsor work the steps and I can promise you, you being stressed and overwhelmed will disappear, I mean today for me I’m calm I don’t stress life happens on life’s terms good with the bad. I’m truly serious get to a meeting reach out, One day at a time, even one hour at a time. Breath focus on the here an now. I believe in you, you are worthy, you are special.
I know it seems like a lot but like I said journal get all those thoughts down take the power out of them . You got this have a little faith. I’m almost 4 yrs next month with 1 relapse. Sierra I think Cindy could be a great guide/help as you take each day, to get and stay sober. You are at the start of a great journey. I promise AA and other 12 step meetings if you need them like me, are where the amazing journey starts. I'm here for you too.
