I relapsed for the last 3 days. The actual $&@? is wrong with me
I did too yesterday.....must been in the air.
Don’t beat yourself up- one day you are going to look back and be proud you got on here and are trying. Don’t give up. I gave up a lot of times, and it just gets worse. Keep moving forward, find a meeting, get a sponsor. Reach out when you are struggling. You got this.
Rizzy i too was a chronic relapser. I finally went ALL IN on my program and made my sobriety my number one priority in life! Over finance, romance and even family.
Once I did that, everything changed for the better. This is the easier & softer way.
I’m here if you want to talk
Relapses are a bummer, but we can learn.
The drug causes physical withdrawal symptoms that our brain sometimes confuses with 'I need more', when the symptoms are indication that our body is healing.
You're uniquely and wonderfully made, and your life is better when not on the drug, right?
You can put it away, sometimes the brain reprogramming takes a while and effort, but it's not something we need, so when we realize it's really not something we want and decide to leave it alone we can be free.
We can celebrate our freedom together too! There's so much joy to be had in our freedom.
