I release resentments that no longer serve my recovery. I

I release resentments that no longer serve my recovery. I choose freedom, not bondage. Today, I let go and allow peace to take its place.

Sober Tip:
Resentments keep us spiritually and emotionally stuck—and they quietly threaten our sobriety. When a resentment surfaces, pause and ask: “Is holding onto this worth my peace or my recovery?” Write it down, talk it out with someone you trust, and remember: forgiveness is not approval—it’s release.

Short Meditation (3–5 minutes):
Sit quietly and place your feet on the ground.
Take a slow, deep breath in… and gently exhale.
Bring to mind a resentment—not to relive it, but to acknowledge it.
As you inhale, silently say: “I see this.”
As you exhale, say: “I let this go.”
Imagine placing that resentment into your open hands, then setting it down.
With each breath, feel yourself becoming lighter, freer, and more at peace.

Closing Thought:
I don’t have to carry what weighs me down. Letting go makes room for healing—and sobriety grows in that space.

Just for today, choose freedom.
