I retired yesterday and am going to study to be a counselor
Good luck man, it’s a rewarding career. Do you want to be an actual licensed therapist, or just like a certificate type counselor?
Congratulations.
Just A Suggestion, Consider Daniel’s Question to You, Carefully.
I’ve found that Tia field can be very fulfilling, But Now After Years Of Poverty I’ll Be Starting My MBA next Month so that I can Earn What I’m Worth. lol Certificate & Batchelor Degree Never Paid My Bills. lol….60 yrs Old & I’m realizing it’s ok to help others, but It’s ok to help myself to live a life poverty free. lol/Truth Talk
I've thought about the same career change, as I'm very unhappy in my current job.
I know it's probably too early in my recovery (4 months) to be a counselor, but it's something I would like to do in the future.
It is something to consider heavily. Providing support to others is very rewarding, but it took me getting my Masters and state licensure to where I could do that and also actually support myself and not struggle. Good luck on the MBA!
Congratulations and wow that’s amazing!
I’m going certificate route at first then licensed
I already have the MBA
What degree are you going for in regards to the counseling profession?
Hi Daniel,
I Start My MBA The End Of This Month.
The Course Will Take About 2 Years+ I Don’t Want A Leadership Carew At This Time. But I’m Seriously Considering Nursing Of Some Kind. Only If I Can Work Independently On The Road Primarily By Myself. You Guest It * I Am A Loner.
