I seriously think we should ban anyone who ignores profiles and seems just to be here for that horizontal thing or some bs romance. I'm starting to get pretty ticked.

Just imagine the ones that are pretending to be here for support as a disguise. Might be best the ones looking just out themselves so we dont have to guess who is honest

Yeah. It disgusts me. Praying on loneliness, self worth issues and a population with very little practice at making good decisions. It should be exposed for what it is. Criminal exploitation and manipulation. I almost left this resource because of this. I hate for them to win though. I’m encouraged to read that others are concerned about it also.

I try to have compassion for sick or lonely people. Not always easy but helps me not feel disgusted or irritated.

I agree and the fakes using this sober site/app for relationships while a bunch of us are on here for support,to vent and to have sober friends

I didn’t realize that’s what some people used this app for and I highly considered deleting it because of that. I’ll stick it out a bit longer but sucked figuring that one out. And the old school habits in me always think there’s under covers on here out to get me which I know is insane and I have nothing to hide anymore but boy it’s just something that’s hard to shake

I've only joined a few days ago and have had 20 friend requests. And countless messages from fake accounts. It's frustrating. But I'm learning how to weed them out and I'm starting to recognize who's real.
