I signed up for outpatient treatment for the first time today. My first meeting is in a few days. Ive been a half of a handle drinker for the last 10 years and ive finally gotten to the point im going to loose my family if i cant change. Ive tried so many times before on my own thinking i was strong enough. Id make it a week maybe two before i convinced myself its been long enough i can control myself to just keep it to one or two drinks. Has anyone had positive results for outpatient treatment?

Yes i have. Be honest with yourself, take it seriously and respect others. Everyone there is trying to get better.

I’m currently in OP recovery and have had very positive results. I don’t know if I hit the jackpot with the facility I chose, but they have been amazing and given me the tools and encouragement I need to stay sober.
