I watched my uncle's funeral then for some reason I slipped, and am still sliding; this sucks, alcohol is a poison, please don't let my slip make you slip.
What's the next step to take to get back on track? It certainly is a poison that almost cost me my life

As a member of Alcoholics Anonymous. After working the 12 steps I learned that I don’t need an excuse to drink. I never did. I drank because I’m an alcoholic.
What I would do is forget the first step, and then give it a reason.

Alcohol is a poison and remember: Alcohol is not your friend. You can beat it! Sobriety is the most awesome gift!!!!

I have put it down, and every day I recommit to the freedom from that poison that has no benefits, but tons of pain.
