I slipped last night and started drinking again. I hate

I was sober for 30 days then last night I threw it all away for the bottle. I hate myself so much right now for doing it.

Don’t hate yourself. Just do something about it. Get to meetings and start again. Learn anything from it?

Yea I learned that the bottle is never the answer. I learned that loneliness is a huge trigger for me. I need to figure out ways to cope without running back to alcoholism.

I have tried the meetings before, I am going to look for some online and give it a go.

I won’t pretend to know what this is like for you, but I will never forget what it was like for me each time I would relapse. After a period of time being I would get sobriety amnesia and forget how bad the bad was and forget what I needed to do to each and every day to avoid slipping back into the abyss.

You can’t change yesterday but the good news is our recovery today is based on how we do today. Suit up, show up, and do the best in your recovery game today!

Yes sir. I will be attending today for sure.

It’s not a race or a finish line to this. It’s one day at a time. Don’t be hard on yourself.
