Man I messed up. I was having a great time with family and friends on thanksgiving, and I decoded to drink. I'm in Oklahoma woth my son visiting my aunt who has been soo gracious amd kind and was my uncle's love until he passed. Now I'm in the same struggle because I took ot too far with alcohol. I kew better, and I don't always tale ot too far which for some reason made me think that drinking was going to be okay this time. I'm thankful for you guys amd girls. Amd happy thanksgiving. Alcohol is bad to drink, and I'm hoping I remember this.

Don't sit and beat yourself up about it. Acknowledge that was a choice you made that was filled with regret afterwards and start again. It's better to be on day 1 than choosing alcohol over living your life to the fullest. You got this! I'm sorry for your loss.

I feel your sadness. This is a terrible disease that wants to take us out but will settle for our misery. Relapse is part of my story too. It took surrender to a power greater than me and a 12 step program. I’m sending some love and encouragement Joshua. You can do this one day at a time
