I slipped yesterday after 50 days. I am mad at myself
Was there an adverse event that triggered it? Slipping up always leads to the guilt and self loathing, stay strong. Think of the 50 good days you put in, not the one bad. Get right back on the right path. You got this
I was 73 days sober….slipped and went to rehab 3 months ago, but wasn’t working my steps or going to my meetings, so October 28th put my self back in rehab…I’m very determined not to make the same mistakes giving it to God because that is my only way I can do this…Sean be strong and lean on your support group and your higher power
But you're back, and that's what counts. A lot of people don't.
I relapsed after 8 years, and took 7 months to get back where I need to be, but only because I knew my higher power and my sober family wanted me back.
I'm glad you're here.
ETA : You get bonus points because you spell your name correctly
It’s ok to be mad. Work through the feelings and look into yourself to see if there is something different you can do to help yourself. You can do it, I know you can.

No matter how much time we have panel it's all just for today this is the most important day
Keep it simple !
Can't live in yesterday s
To long
Won't get nothing done today
Dont go to far in the future either
Cause it is not here
Who knows if we will see tomorrow for it is unborn
If you woke up before 11 am something
Guess what you have more time than me today
Regardless how long I been in recovery
So keep it simple
Can't say it often enough
Keep it simple
If you feel this is getting difficult
Do yourself a favor and do some thing to make you happy
Like
Clean your house
Help some one
Or just
Trust God
And you will get through this day with your Todo list done
And also sober and might even had fun today
So treat your recovery like a gym membership give it 90 days and see how you do !
Good luck and see you around the rooms !

Stuff happens, get back on that horse
I’m on day 2. Don’t let the guilt, regret and shame make you continue to relapse like I’ve been doing for 6 years. All we have is today. Make today sober. We will deal with tomorrow tomorrow.
Don't be hard on yourself. It's the disease not you. Addiction to anything is truly cunning and baffling and wants nothing more than to take you back to misery a d death. Be kind to yourself. You reached out and told the truth. That's worth loving yourself for.
You have to forgive yourself and move on.
Start over. Day one
Brother, I drank after 7 years. I have a very hard time coming to grips with this. But I realized it was my ego. Give it up to God. I’m sober 11 years today. One day at a time.
Try to learn from this one and how your being mad feels now. Because when you lose count of your relapses, you quit being mad and then ready to give up. Stay the course. Pick yourself up and do it all again.
You got this.
I understand why you’re mad. It’s valid. The process is about how well you get jump back on again. Just try and try again and try some more.
Hello Sean: Maybe dust yourself off and try to be grateful that you didn’t hurt yourself. In my humble opinion, that’s what’s important. Try staying in the moment—staying sober just for today. Do you have a support group, someone you can call when you feel like drinking? Personally, I have several people who I trust. When I try to recover by myself I always fail. It really helps when I hang with those who are also recovering. I make meetings too. Together we got 5 years last month. It can be done! Forgive yourself, please.
Here’s the better way to think about it - Over the past 50 days you only drank one time. That’s a heck of a lot better of a frequency than beforehand huh?
You’ve got this
Head up and start the grind over. Go easy on yourself.
You slipped but didn’t slide… please stop beating yourself up.
Lol thanks Sean
