I start drug rehab on the 31! Excited, yet anxious! Ready, but nervous! 30 days away from my kids.... never been away physically ever!

Treat it like a business trip. 
My presence in my kids lives when I was in active addiction was not a positive experience for them. By the grace of god and several judicial systems concurrently, I had 90 days to immerse myself in my program and my sobriety. When we were all reunited it took some time for trust to be redeveloped and healing to begin. There’s still trauma to be resolved for all of us, but I am present in their lives like never before.
