I struggle with paranoia and low self esteem ,the dating scene is not so nice and I have a hard time going out in public places ,everything seems so hard sometimes like driving ,I'm sober today ,I think theirs a reason they say wait until you seek a girlfriend ,we're not ready for the ups and downs of seeking and rejection ...i hope to meet some people on here

Go slow, sobriety is more important at this point. The paranoia will get better. Talk to others there's good people at AA

Thank you ,I have a guy whose about to sponsor me I tried zoom meetings I have a hard time with the video aspect and my in my home group my anoniymity was broken

My gradual descent into alcoholism took with it my self confidence and self esteem. I've learned to love myself again after loathing myself for years. We're pretty vulnerable in early sobriety so dating can be emotionally dangerous. At any rate know you are not alone. ODAAT
