I thought I could handle drinking, I obviously cannot. I pick up beers so naturally. When I am buzzed and want more, I do whatever it takes to get more. I know I need help, I know about meetings. I’m just so bad at processing things that make me want to drink. Any tips? Been clean before. Love to get back to that again.
Have you considered an addiction counselor.
I was the same type of drinker. As soon as I had one, I wanted another. And another. It’s like a switch turned on in me. My question for you is, what have you done in the past that’s helped you get and stay sober?
