I understand the stigma, and respect everyone's journey to wellbriety individually... But kratom has restored my life in a way Suboxone/methadone or even dope never could. The science is in, and this herb is showing amazing promise for those that require a maintenance regimen but refuse to subscribe to the bullshit big pharma put us thRough culturally. That's absolutely 100% false. Your talking about something you clearly have zero knowledge of. There are HUNDREDS of peer reviewed ivy league studies and hundreds more abroad. Kratom has been shown to not display any addiction potential in both human studies as well as animals. Kratom absolutely does not have opiate side effects, in fact it works on a completely different pathway In the brain (the protien pathway) as opposed to actual opioid ND opiate substances work on the t2 receptor responsible for addiction potential and almost ALL the "opiate side effects" (constipation, respiratory depression, addiction, withdrawal.... It cool you got misinformed, but don't spout off a bunch of BS that makes absolutely zero sense anecdotally nor scientifically. Read 40 peer reviewed articles 40 pages long a piece, and then come question what I'm saying.
