I’ve been invited to be a guest AA speaker at an out of town meeting for the first time. Strangely I’m not super full of anxiety, it’s my story of despair and redemption and it’s just a part of my story that I’m no longer ashamed of. Wish me luck

It was seriously an amazing experience, tears, laughter and I had many opportunities to help people that related with my story. It gave me confidence in my recovery by knowing my story has power to help others and took the negative power away from the trauma of my story. I will do it again if I’m invited
