Brian can you share those tips? I’m an RN - I have medical support too but and recovery ideas would be amazing !
DOUBT WORRY AND FEAR are opposites of FAITH. HOPE AND BELIEF. The DREAM. THE STRUGGLE. AND THE PRIZE. ONCE YOU STEP INTO ACTION YOU WILL CHANGE. ACTION CONQUERS FEAR.
I'm in YEAR 36 and in the moment I have some challenges I'm working through. Change...transition and transformation. Look up a book called. THINK AND GROW RICH. Read the last CHAPTER first. Called the 6 GHOSTS of FEAR. We can Create a very Solid foundation for LONGTERM SOBRIETY.
Alcoholism thrives when we self-isolate. You posting this is the opposite of what addiction wants us to do. I know that doesn’t help the awful feeling of it all, but you’re 100% doing the recovery thing just talking about it.
A lot of times, when I'm feeling depressed it's because I'm getting distracted from my ambitions. Some find themselves doing less of what they're passionate about when they are depressed, but usually, we get to that point because we stop doing those things. Acts of service and talking with someone close can help. The recovery community is always here for you, too. Also, it's never too late for a new hobby.
It’s simple really, I work a rigorous program of recovery through AA I use the steps of recovery in every aspect of my life now. I go to meetings nearly daily (I drank every day so an hour a day is nothing) and I live a fantastic life with minimal anxiety, depression, chaos, and full of peace, love, great relationships, and completely sober for 3 years 8 months
This morning! A new day!! Proud of you
Let’s go Bro🏄♂️!
