I’ve been trying to stop drinking this entire year and it’s been a back and forth battle for me. I’m a waitress and have been for years and drinking is basically apart of the job. Oh your stressed take a shot! You got a good tip you deserve it! Oh it’s dead and your bored, here’s another! But this years I’ve lost literally so much because of drinking and blacked out more times than I can count. So any tips would be amazing.

I’m on day 4 now and feel amazing it’s whenever the weekend comes or stress when I fall back into it

Good work!! AA works for me. Reaching out like you’re doing here. Have any supportive friends? We say. First thing is don’t drink and go to meetings. Then sponsor and working steps added to that and God will free you from the obsession. Has worked for who knows how many people including me.

That’s my weakness is the weekend right now I try to avoid much parties as much as possible right now until I can feel I’m good when I finally do

I've been using a treatment developed in Finland called TSM which works really well for me.

Just keep trying new things until you find what works for you.

Yeah yesterday was tough but I made it through another day with no booze. Very proud but now we have today and tomorrow. One day at a time

You got this a day at a time my dude went to go get a daiquiri and beers yesterday after 3 weeks of not drinking infront of me I was able to be alright

Proud of you! That’s amazing. Me and mine are both on yen sober train. When he drinks it’s worse

Oh even better for y’all and yea mines not a drinker like that so he lucky he can have 1 drink n then won’t have another for a week he lucky

I literally stayed sober one day at a time. Moment by moment. Now I’m 333 days sober. You have this!
