I’ve done yoga for 17 years now. I’ve also been drinking almost daily for that entire time. There are days that giving up alcohol feels like I’ve given up so much - friends, activities, stress relief, etc. But my body is thanking me every day I’m alcohol free and I feel better practicing yoga than I possibly ever have, and that is truly a gift. For those of you feeling all the loss keep going! You’ll start finding the things that truly bring you joy.

I have trained martial arts and Brazilian jiu jits but never done yoga. I hear it has all the feels when it comes to mental and physical. I may have to try but this picture has my back already hurting lol. Glad you well

You should give it a shot. It’s a great compliment to jiu jitsu and there are a lot of different class types to choose from.
