I want to start jounlrnaling but dont know where to start. I cant seem to get pen to paper.
Start from the beginning… go to Five Below ( or a regular dollar store) Grab some fun colorful pens
and write the first thing that comes to mind. I like to listen to relaxing music or sit in nature. Write about how you feel in that moment. Or google journal writing prompts.
I journal on my laptop. I don't like hand writing personally. I start with at least 5 things to be grateful for and then just go into anything on my mind.
I recently used the ’Dictate’ function in Microsoft Word. You talk into your computer and it writes everything out
. Could be helpful if you just want to get thoughts out of your head and into the universe 🤷

Agreed w Simon. Google some journaling prompts to get the juices flowing.
I journal. But not daily. I wtite stuff down whrn the mood strikes me. And it's mot always about alcoho, nor sobriety.
I just dump my brain out onto the page. No attention to grammer, nor to proper sentence structure.
I am sure that anyone else reading it would think they are the ramblings of an insane person - but it helps to 'tame' all the thoughts, feelings, ideas...
Sometimes I write best after I watch a movie or listen to a podcast. Try a mood board. Start with positive affirmations.
