I want to tell the story in an effort to encourage people on here being sober. Does that mean we won’t face difficulty in 2014 with about 14 years sober I was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer I had to have surgery and almost a year of chemotherapy but today I’m cancer free. We can make it through anything sober if we’re just willing to press through and do the work and now I act as a voice to the cancer nation by encouraging people newly diagnosed and the first thing I tell them is it doesn’t have to be a death sentence, it’s also caused me to believe for the impossible. There is only two things that God cannot do in your life and that’s lie or fail and if you’re in a situation like that, then message me and I will help you walk through that I’ve been through so many things in my recovery. It’s just unreal, but I’m still alive for a reason and I believe God wants me to share it with the world.

You’re a true warrior Michael. Thank you for sharing, man!
Thanks for sharing. I’m glad you’re ok. I lost my husband a year and a half ago. I too stayed sober. Drinking wouldn’t have helped either of our situations.
