We have a saying in AA….. don’t drink no matter IF your “a$$”falls off. IF it falls off then come to a meeting and WE will put it on again.
That’s great that you haven’t picked up a drink today Chris. However, what is your plan of action?
•Have you attended an in-person meeting daily or more?
•Have you read the first 164 pages of the BB? Not once but twice?
•Have you called your sponsor?
•Have you thoroughly worked ALL 12 steps with your sponsor?
If you can’t answer yes to each question then you have some work to do.
Best wishes :pray::peace_symbol:

Hang in there!

Nothing can be done once u pick up don't do it no matter what

You got this!! One day at a time, never give up!!

Thanks everyone for the support and strength

The struggle is real!! Most just don’t understand. For myself it got easier over time. As you shall see. Stay the course and stay focused on what’s important. Who’s stronger?? You? Or booze??

I’m 4 months sober and I still have my hard days when I want a drink, and I have to talk myself out of buying any. I try to occupy my mind during those moments, try to do something productive, or something I enjoy doing. Keeping busy seems to be what helps me the most. I’m proud of you for having the strength to let the feeling pass!

Thats exactly what I do .thanks
