I was 90days clean and I threw it all away with someone else that I though would be sober forever

and I relapsed again. Ugh I’m so upset with my self I feel like completely hopeless and I feel like I’ll never be able to stay sober. I wanna just stop trying but my soul won’t let me stop trying. I just wanna die. I just don’t understand why the heck I did it. I hate feel So nervous that I could rip my skin off and I know that drugs will help this feeling and it’s taking everything in me right now to stay sober and wait this out because I know it goes away but I don’t know if I have the power to do it please pray for me

Hi Krystal, You’re going through so much right now. I just prayed for you and will continue. There’s hope. Hang on and try to get as much help as you need to get you through this!:pray::pray:

Praying for you Krystal  You got to 90 days before. You know you can do it again! You know from experience that these horrible feelings pass. Rather than beat yourself up for relapsing, use what you learned from it to help you on your new recovery journey. There are very few one chip wonders (no relapse) out there. Most of us need to get our heads beat in before we finally get it. It’s crazy, but that’s just the way it works. Just work on staying clean and sober today. Let’s be grateful you have another chance

Hi Krystal, sounds like a rough patch, but like you said, you know this will pass. Keep yourself occupied, and I know this is hard, but try to stay positive. You have been given another opportunity to get sober and that is AMAZING. Stay close, and keep you and your sobriety as your priority.

Thank you so much I really like the phrase one ship wonder that is freaking awesome I am stealing it and using it now. I know it’s just hard to like get back in the swing of things but I’m doing it and I can honestly say today that I’ll be sober

I can be grateful that I’m alive to tell my story some people don’t get that. It’s just hard to do it again. It’s like I’m losing my willpower but then I’m like reminded of all the people that support me and I’m like I can do this but I have so much self doubt right now

A lot of people aren’t given another chance, we are so lucky! It’s definitely hard to go through again, early sobriety is rough, but you’ve done it once, you can do it again. The self-doubt will be there because that’s what our addiction is telling us, addiction is a liar. Just stay connected with other people sober, you can do this!

I know I can do it again and I’m going to I’m just struggling. I thought I was surrounding myself from people that were having the ultimate goal of ultimate sobriety but my friend had about eight months and also I went to her house and she was using and I was like holy crp I guess we’re getting high.
